Hope for the Animals, PACC911's gala benefit luncheon held on January 12, 2008, was a huge success on so many levels!
Not only because we had a sell-out crowd of 450 attendees, not only because we raised a whopping $200,000 for the EMF, not only because the prestigious art community contributed their talent and love,

This event was a celebration for the animals. It was a coming
together of all the rescues and agencies in our community to show love,
support, appreciation, unity and progress.
Awards were given to 15 rescue groups and individuals who were recognized for their dedicated life saving work.
Dogs like Hope and Mindy, Sam and Freckles were present to be seen
and honored for their loving spirits that helped them to survive
horrible circumstances before being rescued.
The video explained PACC's mission, touching the audience
and educating them with no sugar coating, so that each one realized the
great needs of the animals abandoned in our community. Hopefully many
were inspired to pledge their help and future support.
PACC's mission was accomplished on this day.
We made great strides for the animals.
The inaugural event honored the Rescue Community partnering with PACC911 and supported PACC’s EMERGENCY MEDICAL FUND, a crucial program assisting PACC partner groups with veterinary bills, thus helping to save more animals from euthanasia.
HOPE FOR THE ANIMALS featured a delightful luncheon, a raffle, a unique silent and live auction and a video presentation highlighting stories from the rescue community, with awards.
What made our auction unique? Over 12 well known local artists committed to painting HOPE Chests with animal themes to be auctioned off! Artists also painted a selection of other furnishings, just for a bit of variety. These one of a kind masterpieces were displayed in a “Gallery” like section of the room for viewing. Other treasures were also be available such as artwork, jewelry, custom pet bedding, golf clubs and more! The setting overlooked the serene golf course and mountains with great views!
