Uniting The Pet Rescue Community

PACC911 brings together the many animal welfare organizations from throughout Maricopa County in an interactive manner, providing opportunities for all to work together for the greater benefit of the animals. PACC911 focuses on assisting the rescue groups in four distinct ways…adoption events, fundraising, education and medical assistance through the new PACC911 Emergency Medical Fund. PACC911 has sparked a new spirit of cooperation amongst the partnering humane community now working in harmony as PACC members! PACC leader and founder is Bari Mears.

A new name! An old mission!
PACC911 is a new handle, but our work continues without missing a beat! The board members from the Pets 911 Auxiliary have regrouped and created a new and better working organization! PACC911 will continue the mission of uniting the pet rescue community with adopt-a-thons, fundraisers, Bowl-A-Rama and the Emergency Medical Fund! The new board has nine years of experience in providing these services to the community, and new innovative ideas are also being planned.

LAUNDERING MONEY for a good cause!
PACC911 has recognized a need at Maricopa County and has come to the rescue!
To assure that the animals sitting in wait at county facilities have towels and blankets to lie on, PACC has agreed to try a pilot program to help with the soiled laundry!
FYI: November-March laundry costs run $800/mth
Due to the large numbers of animals being sheltered and coming in daily, the shelters are faced with mounds of daily laundry. Their own facilities cannot keep up with the usage. Because of this, many animals in the past were without something comforting and warm in their kennels, and were sleeping on cold hard concrete.
PACC has made arrangements with a local laundromat, Spin Cycle, to pick up and wash 28 bags of laundry per month, for the East and West side shelters. (total of 56 bags per month)
We need your help to accomplish this. All you need to do is donate to this project! No legwork is necessary! So easy! And you can know that you have contributed to making the homeless animals at Animal Care and Control a bit more comfortable.
Thank you for helping us to help them!!

Any laundry donation amount is welcome!

It appears from the email below that your efforts and those of the wonderful volunteers are paying off. Thank you for all the things you do!

It is a great help to both facilities, we prepare 7 bags of laundry at both facilities on Tuesday and they pick up the bags on Wednesday and drop off last weeks pick up which is now clean and folded and ready to be placed in the kennels. Here at the Eastside it is impossible to wash and dry all the dirty bedding each day due to the size of or washer and dryer, so the help that PAC 911 provides with this laundry service is very beneficial and much needed. There are also volunteers and New Hope groups that also take bags of laundry and wash them for us as well. Thanks, Tom Hope
